Certain moon phases are better for working with finances, but I usually lack the patience and foresight to wait around for the ideal planetary positions. Ideally crystals will have been cleansed and charged first, and you can be as particular about this as you like. I've worked as a reader and practitioner only - something I never thought I'd be able to do!)įinally, add any crystals you've decided to use. It's been over a year, and in that time I have never had to go back to working in an office. I had quit my 9-5 desk job two months prior and was struggling, terrified I'd have to go back to a job that did not fulfill me. (And reader, let me tell you-my goal for that ritual was to have enough money to pursue tarot and spiritual work full-time. When I first completed this ritual this time last year, I was working closely with Astaroth - you can see their sigil on the outside of my own spell jar. Take the mason jar and paint the sigil from earlier on the outside in gold paint. Once you have all the supplies you're going to use, it's time to set up your spell jar. It works just fine with one, but there's no harm in putting more energy out into the universe. If you feel so inclined, charge up numerous notes. When you're ready, take that baby shopping! For best results, you're going to want to spend it on supplies you'll use for the rest of the spell (a paintbrush, say, or a new Sharpie). If you have a working altar, feel free to leave the currency there for a few days to further charge. If you're not yet at a point where you feel comfortable making your own sigils, here's one I drew up with a general 'wealth attraction' intention: Key to sigil making is anonymizing the symbol, complicating it to the extent that you cannot recognize or remember its individual parts. Need money by a certain date? Include those numbers in the mix. Working within a specific spiritual context or with a particular deity? Include a symbol meaningful to that path. From there, you can include any symbols that have potent meaning for you into the mix. For example, if you want to pay off your credit card debt, using the consonants of the words "PAY DEBT" (PYDBT) might be a good start. For now, if you feel comfortable crafting your own magickal symbol there are plenty of good guides online to get you started.įor this ritual specifically, you want to craft your sigil with your specific financial goal in mind. There are many ways to create (or channel) a sigil, and it's a topic I'll dive into in more depth in the future. However, chaos magicians and other practitioners have been using their own form of sigil making for decades to strengthen their spellwork and bring their intentions into tangible reality - and it works! Most commonly they're associated with the Lesser Key of Solomon, a goetic text from the 17th Century. Sigils are magickal symbols used throughout history by ceremonial magicians, occultists, and religious practitioners to imbue items with a particular power or to summon spiritual energies. However, if you already have these extras or if you feel you want to invest, the following herbs and crystals can help strengthen your spell: I'm a firm believer that witchcraft and intentional manifestation don't require fancy props or ingredients. Green or gold ribbon (both, if you have it).Gold paint, or a gold pen that can write on glass.A medium sized glass jar (mason jars are perfect, but any kind of jar or bottle will do).Two (2) dollar bills, or small denomination bills in your currency of choice.
